Visavvi, part of the Saville Group, is a trusted global brand providing professional audio visual collaboration technologies to businesses across the corporate, education, healthcare, public and government sectors. We’ve been working with the company since 2014, but our recent projects highlighted the importance of building a great relationship and how it leads to effective video marketing and positive results. Here’s our Visavvi story.
When David Willie, Head of Visavvi Marketing and Product Management and Gareth Lloyd, Saville Group Marketing and Communications Manager approached us with the brief they made it clear that due to the complexity of the business, they needed to work with a video production company that would take the time from the very first briefing session to listen to exactly what they needed and provide honest advice and guidance to improve on Visavvi’s initial ideas.
Previously, Visavvi had mostly used written copy for their marketing materials such as client testimonials but they wanted to make the transition to video marketing. David and Gareth wanted to work with a video marketing agency team who could support this move and help them meet their marketing objectives.
From the first meeting, it was important for us to gain a full understanding of Visavvi’s company goals; their reasons for considering the transition into video marketing and whether they had any worries about the process. Only then could we appropriately guide David, Gareth and their team on the best options and work together to set clear, realistic objectives and advise how they could use videos as part of their wider marketing and business strategies.
Due to this informative, open and honest first briefing we asked lots of questions about the business, their marketing strategies and why they wanted to produce video. This enabled us to see their vision and suggest improvements to get the best end result. From this point we could confidently plan the projects in detail and develop accurate quotes from the offset. Our approach meant we were able to build strong relationships with the Visavvi team. Working closely with the team throughout the project meant any questions or worries were dealt with at an early stage to avoid unexpected bumps in the journey.
Since that first meeting, we have helped Visavvi to develop a video marketing content library which includes case study videos, promotional videos, feature interviews, award submission videos and animations. With our support and guidance throughout, Visavvi were able to smoothly integrate video into their wider marketing efforts, providing useful content for their website and marketing collateral. The videos are also used in in pitches and presentations and have been especially useful in training sales teams to help them gain a full understanding of the benefits of the solutions. This insight has helped Visavvi increase sales of their AV and IP solutions.
